Lesson #2: What is a Check Card?

Ok, so you go to the bank...open a checking and a savings account & they give you a piece of plastic known as a check card.  It should have a logo such as Visa or Mastercard.  This check card is automatically linked to your checking account *hence check card*. So you may have your savings account linked to your checking account for overdraft protection (another lesson for another day) but when you swipe your card at a store the funds will be pulled from your checking account.
